University of Ibadan student don dey protest becos of di increase of dia school fees wey di school governing council increase for 2023/2024 academic session.
Students start to protest as dem see am say dem don increase di school fees from N230,000 to N412,000.
Di student say dem reject dat decision to increase dia school fees, and com togeda ask dem di authority to reverse di decision with immediate alacrity or students go boycott dia class until dem get answers to dia demand, of which closing of di school portal dey inside dia demand.
But di governing council don tori say dis school fees increase so, dey in line with di economic situations wey dey happen for di kontry and com advice student make dem take advantage of di student loan fund wey federal government don already start to disburse give student.
